I stayed well on track this weekend. Went to dinner at my sister’s house last night, and measured out a cup of pasta, had steamed broccoli and one meatball.
We had birthday cake for my father, but I ended up bringing strawberries so that I could eat those instead, drizzled with a bit of chocolate sauce.
Now, I don’t feel like I missed anything with the cake, since it was a store brand cake. If it was home made – I would likely have had some. But, I do try to spend my calories on worthwhile sweets when I eat them.
I felt pretty darn good about staying on track there.
I also went out for an hour bike ride yesterday, on top of the 25 minutes of jogging! I was really tired last night.
