Lost 0.6 pounds! Getting fairly consistent with that amount each week. Not fast, but at least the scale is moving downwards. 10.4 pounds to goal. I could probably lose a little faster if I cut calories more, but I am not really inclined to do that.
I want to keep my body from setting itself at 1200 calories as a baseline. If I can lose at 1400-1500, then I should be able to maintain at least at that if not more once I get to goal. That’s the problem with being a shorty, I just need less food than someone who is 5’6″.
I was saying to DH this morning that I really felt like I was at maintenance (eating wise, anyway) and just happened to still be losing weight. My patterns, habits and such are all ingrained now and I just do them. For the first time in my life I really feel comfortable with where I am at, and where I am going.
