Maintaining 100 pounds gone since June.

So, no, I have not reached goal yet. But, I realized that I have lost 100 pounds as of mid June, and I have kept that off, plus lost some more over the last 6 months. I hit 110 pounds gone in November, and have kind of wobbled with the same few pounds since then.

I am pretty proud of that! No surgery, just diet and exercise. Yes, it has taken years, but I could have spent those same years staying fat (or getting fatter!!) and doing nothing about it. Plateaus, gains and frustration were all part of it along with the victories. I can keep this weight off, I know it. It means working at it for the rest of my life, but I’m game!

I am off to New Orleans tomorrow (speaking of gaining weight…..), so I will catch all of you on the flip side of the weekend!

You are so amazing! A true inspiration!!! Enjoy the Big Easy and have fun on those runs. I just came back from there on Monday and I also managed in a couple of runs on the hotel treadmill. Have a Hurricane and beignet for me! ;0)

Your story is inspirational. Seems to me the fact that it has taken years shows your dedication to making this a lifelong commitment.

PS I seemed to have inadvertently stolen your snail ticker. I guess I forgot you had one! Sorry.

HAVE FUN, Lori. You know you are an inspiration to me. And the fact that you took your time doing it just inspires me even more.

That is so great! Woohoo on 110 pounds gone forever!

I have only lost 65 pounds, and even though it’s almost half the weight I need to lose, I seem to be stuck here, going up and down the same half pound for a month now.

    Congrats!
You are doing great, and they always say those last few pounds are the hardest. Have a great time in New Orleans. Post some pictures when you get back!

I love this “I am pretty proud of that! No surgery, just diet and exercise. Yes, it has taken years, but I could have spent those same years staying fat (or getting fatter!!) and doing nothing about it. “

I definitely would be getting bigger by the minute if I didn’t make the changes. I have lost 130 lbs and kept it off for over a year now, but if I hadn’t started, I probably would have to lose 160. I gained 60 something lbs in the year before I started weight watchers.

i thought I commented last week but I don't see it. Just wanted to make sure to let you know how amazing you are, and how awesome it is to find a "real person" who bust their butt to loose weight. It reminds us that anything is possible. Thank you for being my motivation & inspiration!
