My pantry staples

Someone asked what groceries I buy regularly.
I make sure that I have these on hand at all times:

Frozen broccoli
Wymans frozen blueberries
Milk (1% or 2%)
Canned pumpkin
Oats
Cottage cheese
bananas
clementines (when in season)
Strawberries
Protein powder
cashews
natural peanut butter
individual cans of tuna
honey
natural chicken breast
some sort of hard cheese
coconut oil
dates
The veggie experiment of the week
unsweetened apple sauce
eggs
coffee
beans or lentils (this is a new thing)
dark chocolate

Things I like to have, but limit:
Meat analogs (boca burgers, Chick’n patties, Smart Stuffers)
Local red meat (more limited from a cost standpoint)
Reduced fat bisquick mix
Arnold Sandwich thins
Wheat thins/triscuit type crackers
Potatoes
Zone bars

I have a ton of different spices and seasonings, so I can have a lot of fun with stuff in the cupboard. I’ve started baking my own bread and rolls, so I don’t buy those anymore.

What’s in your fridge?

Great list! I also can’t live without my coffee. Some days I’m just a fiend for it. With light soy milk, I can make a latte for 1 point. Gotta love that!

Hi Lori, I put a shopping list in the sidebar of my blog. I keep a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables in the house.

Wow, I keep most of those things too. Except the dark chocolate….I’ll have to do a quick pantry check this morning…
