I got Jari Love’s Get Ripped 1000 from Netflix today. Now that is a workout! I love that she has participants doing different levels of intensity, so that you can choose what you want. The workout was about 55 minutes long, but it went so fast I barely noticed! I like those kind of workouts LOL!
She alternates cardio with strength training, and the strength training sections are full body movements (like clean and press) to keep your heart rate up. I might actually buy this one. She says to use the workout no more than 3 times a week because of the intensity. I definitely feel my thighs!
I did go easy on the weights, though – due to the crappy snow shoveling I did today. Can you say heavy ice chunks from a plow? I can, and did….
