National Love Your Body Day!

Now Foundation has made today a national Love Your Body Day.

Think of all the times you have negative thoughts about yourself.  It could be a lot.  Take some time today to tell yourself that you love yourself as you are.  Every person is special in their own way and each person has incredible amounts of beauty inside and out.  Acknowledge that.

I am:

  • Strong
  • Powerful
  • 41 and in the best shape of my life
  • Worthy of everything that comes my way

How about you?

Even though today is officially Love Your Body Day – why not make it every day?  Be positive and it can change your life 😀

Seriously Lori, how much do you rock that you’re 41 and in the best shape of your life? 😀

I’ve gotten into the habit of looking at myself in the mirror right before I get in the shower everyday and complimenting myself. Before I used to cringe at my naked reflection, but our bodies really are beautiful things and should get the love they deserve!

There are many reasons to love our bodies. How much they work for us (duathlons for example 😉 ), whether they have helped to feed our babies, how they keep us going from day to day inspite of the abuse we put it through ect..

I have been working at making sure I find compliments to myself instead of negative. It really does make a difference.

Came across your site today while searching for a Whey Powder Blueberry Muffin recipe for my four year old picky eater. Am very excited to try some of your recipes for my own benefit, especially the bean brownies. I recently lost 37 lbs and would love a little decadent treat for myself.

Your weight loss is awe inspiring. I will certainly be dropping by again. Best of luck with your journey.

Sometimes it just depends upon the day whether or not I “love” my body. Since I have been losing weight, that has really helped, but there are still days that I look in the mirror and don’t quite like what I see. I’ve always had issues with my body, but after going to a Christian counselor, it has really helped me see where it’s coming from.
