6-miler and surprise beauty in fall

(I forgot to hit ‘publish’ last night 😳  )

Today was a run day.  Too cold to go in the upper 20s when I first got up, so I had breakfast first 🙂

I worked for a while until the temp hit 39 degrees and headed out.  Pre run fuel:

The addiction is still alive and well 😳

It was sunny and beautiful (if cold!)  I did a 3.2 mile loop, came back to the house and drank from my water bottle (and shed my gloves), then did another 3.2 mile loop.  2nd loop was the hill run.  If I had though about it, I would have done the hill loop first…..

Here is my GoWear fit today:

Can you guess where the run is in the graph??

Had the most wonderful lunch today.  John cooked up some pie pumpkins yesterday, so we have fresh pumpkin!  I mixed some with greek yogurt, pumpkin pie spice, cranberry sauce and some Hemp Plus granola.

Tasty!

When I was outside today, I saw one of my roses actually had a bloom on it!

Even with the frost and everything lately, and the beauty bloomed!  Very fragrant and I was so happy to see this.  I don’t know if the other 2 buds there will open or not, but it’s possible!

Decided on a burger for dinner.  I don’t bother with the lean ground beef anymore because it’s just too dry.  I don’t eat ground beef very often, so I like to get the good stuff.  The trade off is the tiny burger:

Where’s the beef???  Good, though.

Last stop on tonight’s agenda was Starbucks!  We went with my mom.  I would have loved a gingerbread latte, but decided on a decaf skim latte.  I actually got almost 8 hours of sleep last night!  I hope to repeat that tonight.

This last pic was taken with my mom’s Easy Share by Kodak.  She is actually trusting me with her new digital camera until mine comes back!  😀

Have a super night!

Your breakfast looks amazing! Do you use frozen blueberries? Congrats on the run – that is real dedication in the cold. I shared an award with you on my blog last night…:-)

      Thank you for the award!
I use Wyman’s Frozen blueberries. They are the best because they are tiny and have a great flavor.

I always want to eat the computer screen when I visit you!!! Will you come cook for me!!!

Congrats on that great run! WOW!

Hey, how many of us know what you are talking about when you say “where’s the beef”? I loved that commercial!

Ha, now that you mention it, I realize I congratulated you on your 6 miles on twitter, but never did on your blog because it didn’t post! A belated congrats 🙂

I use an Easy Share camera for all my pictures. What do you think of it? Mine’s about four years old. The focusing drives me nuts and you have to be soooo steady with it to get a clear shot. I’m really hoping to get a nice new one for Christmas!

Funny, I made my chili with extra lean beef and actually didn’t like it as much as turkey. Maybe because it was dry like you say. I still have so much to learn about red meat! 😛

      Susan,
I don’t think I care for the Easy Share all that much. It’s nice, but there is no super macro function on this one and the focusing has annoyed me, too 😀

My dream is to have a DSLR some day…..

Wow, a rose right now? It is beautiful!

I just bought a bag of frozen blueberries. I so need too try your blueberry topping. It looks so delicious!

I don’t shy away from ground beef either. We don’t eat it very often either and we eat healthy enough stuff with it that the fat makes no difference. I don’t get to eat my broccoli as much as I would like anymore since hubby decided that he doesn’t care for it.

Keep up the great work with your running!! 🙂

My first digital camera was an Easyshare, inherited from my Grandmother. I found it frustrating to work and wasn’t real impressed with the picture quality. I have a Fujifilm Finepix J20 now – tiny thing, but I absolutely love it! Hope you get your camera back soon.
