Winter wonderland!

It snowed wet and sloppy snow for most of the day and night yesterday.ย  Not much accumulation, but it was so pretty!ย  Off to Panera Bread with Christmas music on the radio and in the spirit for a gingerbread bagel!

Ornament of the day:

PC030022

In honor of the snow, here is this ornament! Back when we had our retail shop,ย  I used to have a tree up at holiday time with ornaments that people could purchase off the tree.ย  I loved these snowflakes, and funny things is, no one else did – so I had about 6 left over.ย  They made their way onto my tree!ย  The light is behind it, they don’t actually light up.ย  (Note to self, take ornament pictures during daylight hours.)

Note on the beaded ornament – I used a book called “Beaded Ornaments for the holidays” for the pattern.

Hi Lori, I am just waiting for the snow to fall here tonight. Can you believe it-pretty early for a snowfall here in California. Thanks for the gorgeous pics. Maybe I can get some tomorrow before it melts. I actually got my tree up today–surprised myself. So, using your ‘note to self’ I will wait til tomorrow to try to take some pics.

Your snow pictures are so much better than mine! I had no clue we were going to get so much here. I was sooo not prepared to shovel my car out today (okay, I’m never prepared to do that ๐Ÿ˜› )

The snow is absolutely stunning! I always love what things look like covered in pristine, untouched snow.
Great ornament too! I’m looking to seeing more goodies from your tree! I may have to jump on the beading bandwagon when it comes to ornaments. My hubby grew up with a tree covered in homemade ones so I feel as if my artificial tree with glass globes is depriving him.

    Those berry pictures are gorgeous!
I’m always stumbling on wild berries in the park behind my house and wondering whether or not they’re poisonous… probably not a smart thing to test!

I ate your bagel pic while I was looking at the beautiful winter wonderland pics & the August beauty too! ๐Ÿ™‚ I keep forgetting to look for that bagel in our Panera! I MUST GET THERE!!!!

I grew up back east so the beauty of the winter comes back to me although I am not sure I would want to live in the cold now… but never say never!

It is rainy & chilly here in southern CA or chilly for us!
