The fog rolls in.

It was so warm this morning that it was foggy out:

I decided to wait for a run until the fog cleared some.  Safety first!  That meant breakfast.  I wanted oats again, but I had real trouble narrowing down what to put on it.  PB, jam, fluff, granola, nutella, coconut.  I was having trouble because I wanted them all!  I ended up with PB and fluff.

Tasty.  I worked for a while while it got even warmer today.  We hit 70 today!  It almost felt like spring outside.  I finally decided on a pre-lunch run.  I grabbed a handful of granola:

Then put on Sweeney Todd and headed out.  I chose to go without a watch and didn’t note the time when I left because I just wanted to go out and do what I felt like.  I ended up going 3.8 miles today.   My favorite thing on the run? Having to go around a car parked over the sidewalk leaving McDonald’s.  The lady had her drive-through bag and a cigarette.  Can’t imagine how nasty her car smells.

After reveling in a post run shower (yeah, I am a dork) I was hungry for lunch!

This plum was pretty disappointing.  Kind of dry.  Doesn’t make me want to eat the other one I have.

This run was making me hungry today.  I made lattes and had an energy bar with it.

I was able to do extra work today, which is always good.  On super productive days, I can do more lines in the same amount of hours.  It’s like giving myself a raise!

Here was my snack I was eating while cooking dinner (yes, that habit needs work again).

Mini pretzel Ritz and Nutella.  Sweet and salty?  Yummers.

I also got the pink picture of the day.  I made blueberry jam and it is good!

The Breast Cancer Site

The warm weather was just demanding we get the grill out for dinner.  This chicken was from a different smokehouse (Oscar’s) and it was soooo good!  The owner said the chicken was from a good farm, and I would say that he was correct!

Nom nom!  Errand run tonight.  Lazy bones needed supplies:

This is how I work most days, with my own personal lap warmer.

We stopped for some coffee (I had decaf) and chatted about the business and all the things that would be nice to do.

I like chit chat nights.

Time for some stretching!

Question:  Have you ever had Nutella?

I love Nutella but i made a homemade version and it was awesome!! I got this from Savvyeats but for some reason that addy isn’t available!!
    So here’s how i did it 🙂

    Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

Makes about 1 pint of spread

    2 1/2 c hazelnuts

    1/4 c canola oil

    3 T powdered sugar

    3 T cocoa powder

    1/2 c chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350*F. Spread the hazelnuts in a single layer on a pan, and bake for 15 minutes. Allow to cool.

Rub the hazelnuts between your hands to get some of the skins off. Don’t worry about removing all the skins, but getting some of them off will help make the spread more creamy in the end.

Put the hazelnuts and all remaining ingredients in a food processor. Process until smooth.

    Hope you try it!

We always have Nutella in our storage. My hub likes it on toast for breakfast. I myself eat it not very often.

I love that house across your street.

Personally I like fog. Where I run I can always see where I will be in 10 minutes, it’s an open landscape, the fog makes the run more interesting as I don’t see it. Oh the games we play with our minds 🙂

Don’t you just love it when Pixie warms up your lap. Bella is a very active dog but at night when we are watching tv or reading she likes to lay down on my or hub’s lap.

I need to run an errand at lunch for my lazy bones..thank for the reminder 🙂

My mom lives off of nutella and banana sandwiches. It’s some good tasting stuff.

Oh yes, we have “choco” (Flemish word for Nutella) in the house at all times – for the kids, not me. I have experimented with making my own (healthier) versions. Just recently found a recipe using olive oil – if it turns out good, I will post it. Unfortunately, my kids tend to prefer the junkier version…

Nutella on a banana. I got so obsessed with it I ate it every single day and then got sick of it! Been a while though so maybe I’ll add it back in the repertoire.

We’re having the same weather. Though I did manage to get my run in yesterday morning before the heavy fog (good thing since I run in the dark). This morning, I had to hit the TM because it was raining. Entertained myself through 5 miles with The Biggest Loser.

PB and fluff in oatmeal sounds like something I need to try! And I LOVE nutella, it was always a treat when mom picked up a jar when we were kids 🙂

I’ve had Nutella before but only when it was already prepared as part of a recipe: in a pie, as cookie filling, etc. And really, this was a recent discovery for me. I loved it! However, I have never purchased it for the home. Too dangerous for me now that I’ve discovered how yummy it is.

I very, very much enjoy Nutella! I keep some in my desk drawer for emergencies. lol! Good on rice cakes.

My lapwarmer kitty likes jump up while I’m reading a book or magazine and cover the text. I know I shouldn’t be focusing my attention on anything but the cat! ;P

Love Nutella! So much so that I don’t keep it in the house…

We had a foggy day like that in Toronto on Sunday, it was eerie, definitely wouldn’t have gone running in it either.

by “fluff” do you mean marshmallow cream?
i’ve heard other people refer to fluff..as fluff and I am just not sure!

fluff in my house is my “open in case of emergency” jar. I never ever make anything with it…I just eat it.

I don’t buy it anymore. I hae no self control! not with “fluff” (if that’s what it is)
