Hello from..

Hey everyone!  We had a busy and long travel day on Thursday.  Here are the travelers!

It was good flying weather.

I actually don’t care much for flying.  I used to love it, but not so much any more.

This is part of the landscape where we are:

Any ideas?

We are visiting John’s family right now and back in our old stomping grounds.  We took a trip today to the home of this:

We cannot find the holiday CS teas in our area (for whatever reason), so had to stop into the shop and get some.

Lots of tea!

Found the holiday teas, too! We got some gingerbread, Sugar Plum, and Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride!

It just smells amazing in this place  – and outside as well!  The mint smell permeates the air.

You can see this room is all tea dusty:

This is in Boulder, CO.  John and I went to school at CU (where we met).We walked around the downtown area of Boulder, which is quite neat:

There was a quartet of horn players doing Christmas carols.

This actually brought a lump to my throat because that was my instrument and what I was at CU for.  The teacher I had is no longer there, but I told them I had gone there 14  years ago.

Just such a pretty town.  We are actually staying in Greeley with John’s sister.  Having a good time!

I might have minimal pictures as my camera battery is low.  Hope it lasts through the weekend! Just wanted to give you a quick post as to where we are, hope you are all having as nice a time as we are!

    I went to a small-town University in Kansas…
People would go to Colorado just for the weekend!
And all the Band competitions were always there, as well….
It is just so pretty, like you said!
So glad you got a chance to go and have fun!
I think you’ve coined a new phrase – “tea dusty!”
    Love it!

We LOVE Boulder! The CS tour and the STORE was wonderful and oh my goodness, all those bike paths. And then there’s that wonderful farmer’s market! I could go on and on!

Would be interested in knowing how you got from Boulder to NY. AND BTW Lori, I’m with you. Not a fan of flying anymore – don’t know what changed, used to love it! Now that I have more time, I think I just enjoy the scenery and slower pace of driving. Hope you all have a great visit with family. Be safe!

It looks beautiful Lori, I hope you and John have a fun trip together.

Funny that you played the horn when you were young. My sister did too. I played a trumpet when I was a teenager.

Glad you are enjoying your trip. You guys are always doing such fun stuff. Always seems so romantic to me even your bike rides *smile*. Glad you found your tea.

Love the tea tour – I’m drinking a cup of Candy Cane Lane tea right now! And I couldn’t find their holiday teas anywhere last year…until I went to the Dollar Store. Weird, I know.

Looks like a lovely place to visit – I’m sure you’re having fun!
