A real use for Pinterest!

Are you glad it is Friday? I am glad it is Friday! We had snow last night, but the sun came out.  As it peeked over the horizon this morning, it caught the tops of the trees in a beautiful way.

I wish I could edit out those wires.  This lasted about 10 or 15 minutes and it was gone.

I settled in for work and breakfast this morning.  Banana Bread Pudding.

I put almond butter and peach jam on this.  Tasty!

It was hard working today.  Fridayitis big time.  I was glad for lunch

This was BBQ chicken on a baked potato.  Plus a kiwi.  Kiwis were on sale, so I picked up a couple.  I forgot how much I like them.

Work slowed down in the afternoon, so I grabbed a piece of dried pineapple and headed out to shop before my haircut appointment.

It was dark when I left the mall.  I went with a much shorter style.  I found  a real use for Pinterest!  I had pinned a bunch of short hair cuts that I liked and brought my netbook to my appointment.   I showed my stylist the board so she had a good idea of what I was going for.  She loved the idea of doing this. Who knew Pinterest could be useful instead of just a time suck?

My new fun cut! (I took my glasses off for the pic).

Now we shall see if I can style it right or just look goofy.  Or style it right and still look goofy.

I was hangry for dinner, so I just whipped up a 1-minute muffin with some peanut flour and lemon curd on top.  No meat thawed out and I didn’t feel like eggs. John had already eaten his dinner.

Taking off in the afternoon means working tonight. Booo.  I do get to have a latte at home, though, since I missed out this afternoon.

My sister and I have a little road trip planned to Trader Joe’s for Saturday!  The nearest one is 2.5 hours away, and we decided to go there just for fun.  Hope the weather holds.

I am so glad it’s the weekend! I love bread pudding, and your recipe looks delicious. I’m making a trip to TJ’s and Whole Foods tomorrow too. I’m lucky that they’re only 15 min away!

Wish I could wear my hair that short and look as cute as you do…not fair!!!! Love the haircut, btw. 🙂

I am using Pinterest the same way today! Only, there’s an iPhone app so I’ve got what I want to show on in my app. So great.

Love the haircut. Good luck styling it. I can never seem to make mine look the same as the hairdresser does but I usually do manage to come to an acceptable compromise.

    Have fun at Trader Joe’s!

Cute hair! I have the longer and asymmetrical version of that haircut now too! My stylist actually keeps pictures of haircuts on her iphone to show clients. I went through them and said “I want that one!”

Never thought about Pinterest though. You could use it on a iPad or Kindle Fire or similar tablet too!

Lori you hair looks great, looks very good on you, I love it.

What I also love is that first pic, it looks beautiful.

I’ve just read on Facebook that the Trader Joe’s trip didn’t take place today, hope you’ll have better luck tomorrow.

LOVE that haircut! Looks amazing! As for Pinterest – addicting & I am hooked! YIKES! I might have to start a page just for Pixie – oh, heck, you should do that but I want to! I might put her on my Products I love page even though she is not a “product”! 😉

Love the pics of the trees, and I do love your new haircut. I might have to ‘pin’ it and take it to my hairdresser! I was fantasizing about cutting all my hair off this morning when it was driving me nuts!

Wow, 2 1/2 hours to TJ’s. Now I feel like my 1 hour drive is nothing!
