What I drink

Today started the last week of the first stage for the fit female program. Again, I increased either weights or reps on a couple exercises.  The gym was crowded this morning. Or at least in the free weight area.  Too many young men in there.  I can’t believe I am complaining about that, but it’s true.  How is a girl supposed to get her her workout done?? I thought spring break was next week?

I thought I would give you some cuteness for the first photo today. Pixie sleeping is always cute.  It’s when she isn’t getting into trouble, so that’s a good thing.  She was curled into my arm for a lot of the day today.

Dreaming of catnip, paper balls and tuna, probably.

I changed it up for breakfast today.  I had already consumed my post workout shake, and for some reason I wanted cheese.  So, omelet it is!

Topped with cheddar cheese.  This was tasty.  I wasn’t sure how long it would last me, but I made it to lunch, albeit pretty hungry by that time.

I tried some Cabot greek yogurt today.  Tart! Too tart.  I like my Fage better.

I get some questions asking what I drink since I don’t drink diet soda.  You all know I love my coffee.  I drink 3 cups of coffee in the morning with almond milk. The only calories I really drink are milk.  In cold weather, I drink a lot of hot tea and plain water (and honestly it is lukewarm water because it is easier on my teeth).  In warmer weather, this is my staple:

Seltzer water.  No artificial sweeteners.  Just a hint of natural flavor.

Of course, there will always be my drinkable calories in the afternoon.

Another busy day at work today.  Just when I think things are going to slow down and it gets busy again.  Thankful, thankful.

Pineapples were on sale this week, so we decided to get one.  You will be seeing a lot of this during the week!  I cooked up a turkey burger to go along with.

FYI for those that wonder, I eat 4 oz burgers.

I did nibble on pineapple while I was cutting it up, and I had to consciously stop myself.  It was so good!

I am off to visit my folks tonight.  Stay safe those of you in the path of the storms!

Question: What is your drink of choice?

    Good looking food. I’m hungry!

I made the switch to sparkling water a few years ago and have never been happier. I feel so much better when I don’t drink diet soda. I get the Fred Meyer brand of sparkling water with lemon lime flavor in it.

Fizzy water is my crack! Lacroix is my favorite brand, just found coconut flavor today and tried it a little while ago. Really yummy but not as refreshing as the orange or pamplemousse flavors.

Hmmm. When I am being a good girl, my drink of choice is water. Otherwise, its coffee and diet coke. Sometimes tea in the evening stops my snacking.

Ooh, you just reminded me I have cut up pineapple in the fridge…snack time!

I drink water. When I get fancy, I drink sparkling water with fresh lime. I know, envy me. 😉

I mostly drink iced tea, with a Diet something-or-other every now and then for indulgence. I do like the seltzer or ‘fizzy water’ sometimes in the heat of summer, but nothing beats a big glass of ice water on a triple-digit day. 🙂

I don’t drink soda either. My favorite drink is coffee and especially coffee from our machine with milk. Other than that I drink tea, water and something similar to you: water with a taste and the occasional glass of wine of course.

I wish I was there and could bury my face in Pixie’s fur! She looks glorious.

Have you realized you could enslave cat lovers on Pinterst just by sharing your Pixie pictures there… 🙂

Unfortunately I still drink diet soda (Pepsi to be specific). And lots of hot tea!

Beverage of choice is Blue Sky cherry vanilla creme soda. Stevia sweetened and hits the spot. My brother got a soda stream for his b-day and I’m excited to try it out and see if I like the sparkling water flavors

I drink water with meals and first thing in the morning. I drink decaf green tea in the morning too and when it’s cool, flavored decaf teas later in the day. In the warm weather I’ll switch to a decaf cold tea.

Do you have feedburner? I got to wondering if your feed is somehow corrupted.

I do have feedburner and I re-burned the feed. I will have to delete the old feed and see if that helps, but I have to warn people before I do that. It’s mighty frustrating.

I drink water all day long so by the time I get home, I’m sick of it. Then I switch to decaf iced tea usually. And every single night I drink about 4 oz. of Diet Pepsi. I like the fizz.

That Pixie. I don’t know how you prevent yourself from hugging her silly. She’s so pretty, soft looking, and cute.

My drink of choice is a tie between coffee and water. Both are must haves for me.

water-lots of water (but I covet that one cup of coffee in the a.m. with REAL half and half).

You can’t have too many pieces of fruit…nibble away at that pineapple!

Hi Lori. I ‘awww’d’ out loud at that picture of Pixie. Daytime drinks of choice, water (tons of water), coffee and chai tea (with almond milk). Nighttime drinks of choice, Perrier with grapefruit flavour, and a glass of wine.

I never even tried seltzer until I met my husband – when he imbibes he drinks vodka and lime seltzer – love it! Although I had my mom taste it one time and she thought it tasted like the bottom of a bird cage. 😀

Coffee is my #1 – I enjoy each and every one I drink! (so sad that I am out of your roasted coffee though!) 🙁
