Tiny blooms!

Welcome to Friday and an official What’s Blooming post because I actually have blooms!

Just a nice short post today since it is a holiday weekend.  I did have to work today, though.

I do not remember purchasing these, so I imagine they were some bonus bulbs in my last order.  Daffodils!

But – teeny tiny daffodils!  Here is my hand in comparison.

I have never seen such tiny daffs before.  There is just this one little cluster.

Also up early are my early tulips.  Only really early.  These guys didn’t bloom until late April last year, so it goes to show what a mild winter is has been.

I can’t remember the name of these, but maybe Lady Jane?  They are also very short.  Here you can see how short:

I like the leaves on these, too.

So, tiny dots of color in an emerging garden.  I think everything is coming early this year, unless the colder weather we have been having slows it down.

We are hoping to bike to Lake George tomorrow.  Lots of hills!  Still colder than I would like, but we are just going to do it.

Hope you all have a good weekend!

Well I know it’s officially spring when Lori posts her first Friday Blooms report. EXCEPT that we are expecting temps in the 30’s next week. I knew that would happen!!

I’ve been unsubscribed for a week now, but haven’t missed any posts. Had written myself a note to wait a week and try again, so here goes!

It’s getting closer and closer to our trip!

Happy Blooms! Very pretty. I love the tiny daffodils. I’ll think of you biking tomorrow as I go out with DH. Love this season. Happy Easter!

I love the tiny daffodils! That sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday, even if it is a little chilly. Maybe you’ll have to have some warm apple pie instead of frozen yogurt when you get there!

The tiny daffodils are too cute!

I will be looking forward to your Friday posts so I can see what is blooming.

Have a great weekend and I hope you get your ride in.

BTW. Your post appeared correctly on my blogrole this time, instead of staying at the very bottom!

Beautiful flowers. I have been wanting to plant daffodils for years and never get around to it. I actually need to dig up many of my flowers and plant them so the garden is a little more organized. I’ll have to research how to do that.

Beautiful Lori! I love your bloom posts!

Hope your ride is good! We are going to have nice weather before rain hits us next week so I am going out to enjoy! 🙂

I love your blooms! Our azaleas are blooming and already losing their blooms and Easter is barely tomorrow. They are beautiful, but way too early because of our warm winter too (I’m told).

Catching up on your blog and so grateful you share even the struggles (bagel day when you wanted to over eat.) I hope you have a nice Easter!

Those ARE tiny daffodils. Don’t you love to take photos of flowers? There’s just something happy and calming about a garden.
Hope your ride was enjoyable. It was a bit windy but the sun was shining. That gives us the energy for all those hills, right?! 🙂
