What’s Blooming!

Fall is blooming!  John put up the fall flag:

It’s funny, I have 5 flags.  One for each season and one Mardi Gras flag.  No other holidays 😀  I love Mardi Gras!

Here are some wild asters (I think that is what they are) that popped up in the hedges:

Next to our beautiful driveway!

I had to get that in there.  We have had this driveway for a little over a year now and I still love it just as much.  More so now that it is sealed!

My sweet potato vines are turning color.

That pumpkin will be made into pie at some point.

My mums that I finally stuck in the ground.

Nothing says fall like mums, right?

The burning bush is turning – or burning, I guess I should say.

Still have some blooms on the butterfly bush:

The afternoons have been warm enough that there have been monarchs on the bush this week.

Blooms on the knockout rose.

It’s actually getting past peak a little early.

And one last shot on today’s bike ride:

Fall color goes so fast. It’s so beautiful when it arrives and if you blink, you miss it.

There is a gorgeous weekend coming up and perfect riding weather.  Time for a cupcake ride! 😀

Hi, beautiful garden as always. You are right, blink and you miss fall.

Could you do a little review on your Prius now that youve had it awhile. I am considering one and like you I like to be very mindful of my pocketbook and utility usage. Thanks in advance 🙂

Glad you will have a nice ride and a cupcake!!!
Do you have stuff that grows in your garden year around? (that might not even be possible – I know very little!)

Haha – we get too much snow to have stuff grow in winter. The garden goes to sleep under its blanket of white until spring.

Such a beautiful garden – love your flowers. Wish we had some fall temperatures here in Central FL. Still 92*
