Superbowl, baby!!

We had a fairly relaxing weekend. It’s probably the last weekend we will have before things get pretty hectic for us for a while.

We kind of relaxed and I got dreaming about my gardens to be.

Plus shopping around for some furniture pieces.

I love this couch and matching chaise.

It also comes in burgundy, which I just might like more. Too bad the couch is way down on the list of needed items 😀

This store is a mix of old and new furniture and it has some really fun pieces there, like this old armoire:

And this china hutch, which I have a serious eye on because it was only $195.

I just can’t get it yet until we move because we aren’t moving anything twice!

Then there was the best part of the weekend. I was all set for the game with this week’s manicure.

I have to say my nails are always good for a conversation starter.  We were out a breakfast this morning and a woman asked me, “Are you rooting for the Broncos?”  Keep in mind my nails were done and I was wearing my Broncos jersey. I said “You think?” and we both broke out laughing.

Yes, I would say I am rooting for them.

I was nervous for the game, but the Broncos prevailed in the end.  Peyton deserves it. He is just an all around good person along with being an incredibly hard worker. Nice to see that actually get rewarded in this day and age!  WOO HOO!!!

That is the kind of furniture store I really like! Especially the prices!! Very disciplined of you to not buy before you move.. Unlike someone who bought furniture before the room was built… I am going to get rid of Noah’s 7 foot sofa and get a love seat. But not until all the work is done! I bought a garden mag today–for the dreaming part!

It’s bad enough to move ourselves, but then we have to move the business as well, and I just can’t justify buying more furniture to add on top of that. That cabinet might be gone before I can buy it, but that store is always turning over inventory and fun to look at.

I love the couch and chaise – I hope it works out that you can get it. And, that hutch for only $195?! That seems like a huge bargain!!!

My team didn’t fare so well, so we will not be temporary enemies during the big game. 🙂

Love that hutch for $195. I’m looking for something like that with a glass door for displaying my quilts. But, much like your sofa, it’s a little ways down the list.

Do you think if you went and paid for the hutch the store would hold it for you until you move? If you really want it, that might be worth a try. Not to mention that’s an amazing price!

I don’t know if they would hold it that long, but have to fit it into the budget first – which is being stretched LOL!

I love that hutch – buy it and have them hold it!!!

Also, the chaise, or as I prefer, “fainting couch” – LOVE.

Congrats on your team’s win! I wanted the 49ers to win, and will not be rooting for the Seahawks, so you’ve got one more on your side come Feb. 2nd. 🙂

I totally thought of you when they won, and I agree – I’ve never heard a bad word about Peyton Manning – go Broncos! (since our Chicago bears sucked ass!)

We will be doing the kitchen before we move in so that it is functional for us. Other stuff will be done after we move in.

I love the different furniture pieces. I wouldn’t buy anything either right now if I knew I had to move that too. Maybe you’re lucky and what you want is still there when you are moving.

The couch reminds me of Downtown Abbey! Are you sure you aren’t aiming to furnish the Manor Radiance as Downtown Abbey? 🙂

My favorite nuts at the moment are pecans – I like cashews too but these days I prefer pecans over cashews.

    I think I’m getting seriously Pixie-deprived here! :p

Always remember we here in Tennessee taught Peyton everything he knows…LOL! He still does so much for our community and rumor has it, he’s never taken a dime of compensation for it. Go Broncos! Hope you are planning on detailing every step of this move in the blog. I’d enjoy it. Or perhaps my warped sense of humor will just enjoy it being someone else and not ME!!

Lovely furniture! I thought you were a saints fan? But I know you lived in CO too. Like both?

My husband was sad his 49’ers lost. 🙁

This Seahawks fan is biting her tongue! We may have some colorful characters (Sherman, I’m looking at you!), but Russell Wilson is a class act and even Mr. Sherman recently spent time at a local high school encouraging the students to graduate. It should be an exciting game!
