February Goals

Better late than never, right? I had goals in mind, but then never posted them.  Good thing I am not a paid blogger with an editorial calender…  😳

1. Host the Healthy Heart Weekend.  Okay, that was announced here and is next weekend!

You don’t actually have to officially sign up for it, FYI. You can just do it and send me the picture after you do your thang.

2.  Start painting the master bedroom.  This is the only room in the whole house that doesn’t need wallpaper removal and now that a color has been decided, time to repair the walls and get painting.  It’s gonna be purple. Plum Frost to be exact. It’s really a huge room, too.

3. Finish one of the trunks and try to sell it.  Making good progress here. I should have it done in a week or so and then I will see if I can sell it. I will start with my group of vintage people and then work outward from there.

4. Start a bowflex routine. My gym membership expires next week and I will need to get into the habit of strength training at home.

That’s a fair amount for a short month I think.

We have a Bowflex machine – I have never really learned how to use it. Maybe if you start using yours and share some of the moves I might join in.

Did I know you had a bow flex? Sometimes I would like to have enough equipment at home to forget about the gym. But then I remember I don’t have a swimming pool in my back yard…

We have had the bow flex for probably 15 years? It was one of the first ones, I think. We have carted it around all across the country LOL!

Great goals! I love your comment about not being a “paid blogger” with an editorial calendar lol…have a great weekend and best of luck achieving the feb. goals. I need to do my own list.

I love working out at home (or from home in case I go for a run). I don’t miss the gym at all. I just get up, get dressed, put my DVD in the recorder and go!

Which of the colors is it? I love them all, peaceful and that’s what a bedroom should be.

I like the gym because of the free weights and actually to get out of the house since we work at home.

The color is the one in the middle of the bed – the highest on the wall. Plum Frost. The colors look a little funny on that brown background. I should have tested them on a white board.

        Love the color!

I can understand that if you work from home it’s nice to go to the gym. For me it’s the other way but you know that.

Are you buying the Bowflex or do you already own it? As you know I am a workout at home type of girl. I just don’t the the socialization part of exercise – although it was nice to have a group when I was running 20 milers when I did marathons 🙂

Isn’t it going to be a refreshing change to just paint and not remove wallpaper first? Have fun!

We have had it for probably 15 years. I like the BF, but I can’t do 2 of my favorite exercises with it, which would be deadlifts and squats. It’s good for general strength training, though. We waffled on selling it before we moved to this house, but then John thought he might use it more.

We chose the bedroom to do next to take a break from the wallpaper removal 😀 It will be nice just to patch and paint.
