Happy Friday!

It’s the weekend!! WooHoo!
Had a good on plan day today. I even did Week 2 Day 1 of C25K. Jogging for 90 second intervals. No problem, really. The last jog was a bit harder because I ended up on a hill for that unintentionally! Not too bad of a hill, but enough to make me notice the extra effort.
Also did full body bowflex today. Starting next week I am going to split those workouts and do 4 days per week.

Weigh in day!

I lost 1.2 pounds!! WooHoo! So close to the 150s.

Today was a heavy workout day. I did Day 2 of Couch to 5K. I decided to get up early and go, since it was going to be a lot warmer in the afternoon. My body wasn’t that thrilled about jogging at 7am! But, I did it.
I also did my full body bowflex workout. I think next week I am going to spread it out over 4 days, instead of doing full body 3 days a week.
Then I raked leaves. It isn’t even fall, and I had to rake leaves at my flip house – since it obviously wasn’t done last fall.

I must be crazy

Today I decided to do the Couch to 5K program. I tried this before about 20+ pounds ago and didn’t like it. Not quite sure why I feel the need to try again. I have been wanting to try some HIIT, and maybe this seems a good way to go about.
However – the first go around was way easier than I remember! I must be in better shape or something. The 60 second jogs were no problem, and I recovered very quickly. After 2 more times, then the 90 second jogs. That will be the real test. I never made it past the 2nd week the last time.

Could I really make it to goal?? Is it possible??
