Weigh in day!

Lost 1.5 pounds this week! So that is the 1 pound I gained last week, plus another 1/2 pound. Think the water retention weight from the new strength training program is starting to leave. Phew.
Won’t make judgment on that until I see the scale next Wednesday, but I am pleased for now!

Weigh in day!

Well, I posted a gain this week. 1 pound. I’m not totally sure where it came from, but I imagine it is a combo of:

– The long weekend, particularly Monday at my niece’s birthday party (I’m talking about you, Spa City Cupcake!!)

– My new lifting routine and its subsequent water retention.

– Fiddling with my macros.

Yet another reason to reinforce the need to keep the weekends under control. With my new body shapeover challenge, I imagine the next couple of weeks will be a bit bumpy on the scale, so I’d better buckle up!

Stepped on the scale assuming a gain or maintain. Wrong! I lost 0.8 pounds! Yeah! I knew I was holding onto water, and the cardio rest day really seemed to help, along with clean eating.

Had a new PR running today, will post later.

So…… 106.2 lost, 8.8 pounds to go until goal!

Weigh in day!

Well, didn’t lose the requisite 0.6 this week, I lost 0.8 LOL! Almost a pound! Yipee!
Now I have officially less than 10 pounds to goal. Guess this is the hardest 10, but we shall see.

Did a new personal best jogging this morning. Funny how I said the other day that I ran faster later in the day. Cold here in the northeast – it was in the low 50s while jogging! Don’t know if that helped or not. So I finished at 35:25, or about 11:44 per mile. I hope to consistently do this through to the next race in Sept.

Weigh in day!

Lost 0.6 pounds! Getting fairly consistent with that amount each week. Not fast, but at least the scale is moving downwards. 10.4 pounds to goal. I could probably lose a little faster if I cut calories more, but I am not really inclined to do that.

I want to keep my body from setting itself at 1200 calories as a baseline. If I can lose at 1400-1500, then I should be able to maintain at least at that if not more once I get to goal. That’s the problem with being a shorty, I just need less food than someone who is 5’6″.

I was saying to DH this morning that I really felt like I was at maintenance (eating wise, anyway) and just happened to still be losing weight. My patterns, habits and such are all ingrained now and I just do them. For the first time in my life I really feel comfortable with where I am at, and where I am going.

Weigh in day! And Size 10 jeans!

Weigh in day. I lost 0.6 pounds, and I am so grateful for that! Considering the Indian food and cake the other day, having a loss was pretty surprising. Guess all that jogging is good for something LOL! Better not get cocky, though. 11 pounds to goal. I hope to hit that in 3 months. It’s getting so slow now.

Weigh in day!

I lost 1.2 pounds this week!!!! Yay! I am excited! No plateau after all, phew…

So, July didn’t end up too shabby. I checked and on July 2nd I was 149.2, so I actually lost 3.2 pounds this month. I also lost 1/2 inch off my waist, 1/2 inch off my arms, 3/4 inch from my hips and 3/4 inch from my thighs – thank you jogging!!

I need to come up with some new project for August. I am going to continue jogging, but I think I might concentrate on my abs for the month.

Another On Plan Day!

Yay! Another good day. Ate Nutrisystem foods today, which is really great when I am swamped. No thinking needed. So busy, though. One more day of having a million things to do, then only 999,999 after that :). I don’t like being so hectic – I feel like I don’t get time for myself to just relax.

I am already thinking about tomorrow’s jog. Wednesday evening is the only weekday evening I get to spend with DH most times. So, not sure if I am going to jog in the evening or not. I may get up early and go if I can – but I have been so tired from all the work that I haven’t been getting up early. I could move the jog to Thursday, but the weather looks rainy. Wish I could get him to go with me!! I’ll figure something out.

Tomorrow is weigh in day, not sure what the scale will bring – either more sameness or hopefully a loss! I would like to end the month on a positive note. I am looking forward to measurements – I think I lost a little off my hips and thighs with all the jogging!

Pretty unremarkable. Gained 0.2 pounds, pretty much a maintain. July has been very stationary as far as the scale goes. Will maybe net a 2 pound loss for the month.

I was focusing on the jogging this month – so hopefully measurements will show the change that the scale isn’t.

Today was weigh in day. Lost another pound! Only 12.8 pounds til goal.

Ran another 3.25 miles this morning. Not sure I like the morning jogs. I was ravenous all day, and ended up eating some extra calories. I am half way done with my goal of 13 5Ks this month!
